Hindi po ako alumnus dito sa Canlubang but rather sa Tarlac City. Fr, George was my Science Lab teacher and Physics teacher. In my grade school days, he was the school's rector. So many pleasant moments to recall about him and his goodness. I remember the Sunday Masses that my friends and I faithfully attended. His homilies were never a source of boredom and "hindi nakaka-antok." His unique way of confession where he let the student inside the confessional box, instead of kneeling at the sides. Being a young boy at that time. my fondest memory of him was that- at the end of every Sunday Mass, Fr. George would make all the young ones fall in line to give them candies. But, you can only line in once-no repeats. He knows a face well, if you come back..boy..maghanda ka at magagalit yan sa iyo. You are gonna get a good sharp piece of his mind and sometimes. with the hand movements too. But we never fail to understand as we knew he only had the best intentions always. An outstanding teacher Fr. George is. Not even the principal at that time, who is a book author now can come close to his ability. Fr. George taught with zeal, passion and heart. Nambabatok po yan si Fr. George. I think all his students (in the priest's younger days-circa 60's to 70's) But we all believed that, hindi magiging Fr. George siya, kung wala yung mga batok na yan. But we knew Fr. George's heart. He did that with the purest and best intentions-and that is to make us all learn well. And learn well, we all did. I do not know if this will ever reach him. I do not even know if he is still alive. If he is, I pray that someone make him read (or read this to him) this humble piece. It is the best way I know of thanking, appreciating and loving the great man, school rector, educator and friend then, now and always.

By the way, this is for you, "versiglao" Whoever you are. Maglinis ka ng bibig. The Salesians do not need your foul oral skill( if at all skill nga yan).

The institution adopts an "open door" policy. You can always choose not to study here you know. You do not have to use profanities and throw them at this institution which already is existent long before you and will continue to exist long after you have passed on. Your language speaks so much of you. You are what you say. If you have nothing good to say, might I suggest for you to keep your vernacular oral skills to a silence. Comprende, amigo? Ablo Ingles? Or rather parlatti Italianni?
